Subjects studied in Grade Two in Afghanistan Schools
1. Pashto Language:
By the time students get to 2nd class, they already know quite about reading and writing Pashto. They continue with more difficult sentence making, vocabulary building, grammar practice etc. The approach respects kids individual style of learning and learners are encouraged to be creative by comprehending what they read, telling or writing stories.
2. Quranic Studies:
Students will memorize longer portions of Quraan along with a better comprehension of Tajweed principles as well as cover the meanings of simple Surahs.
3. Islamic Studies:
Islamic Studies involve a more in depth look at the Five Pillars of Islam, Tawheed and understand the Islamic beliefs. They also start learning about the Sunnah and Qualities of Prophet, as well are ethical and moral lessons from the life stories of Prophets.
4. Painting:

The students are also required to practice Pashto calligraphy and improve their handwriting. They move from writing shorter to longer and more structured words and sentences, maximizing letter formation for better writers.
6. Life Skills:
Real life experiences concerning dignity, honesty, teamwork, communication and problem solving are the subjects of life skills classes. Other topics like safety measures, how to do something, or rules in daily life, communication and self-confidence increasing are also mentioned.
7. Mathematics:
In Math of Grade 2 addition, subtraction, by and large some counting skill is a must for student. They also start learning through simple multiplication that would aid them in future and problem solving as well as introduction geometry. Math helps children learn how to think and directions.
