Subjects studied in Grade Eight in Afghanistan Schools
1. Quran and Tajweed:
Grade 8 students continue the process of memorizing the longer Surahs and practicing the recitation skills with Tajweed rules. They are taught to comprehend the meanings and be able to apply the teachings of Islamic teachings every day with the emphasis on moral and spiritual development.
2. Dari Language:
The Dari classes are concerned about reading comprehension, grammar rules, and creative writing. They read and analyze more complex literary texts, write proper structures of essays, and work on fluency in spoken and written Dari at the same time.
3. Arabic Language:
In the 8th grade, students are exposed to words that are not common and offered more grammar exercises. They also have practice with sentence structure. The target in this syllabus is improvement in the skills of reading and writing simple paragraphs, and, along with that, students get to know Quranic Arabic to increase their religious understanding.
4. Pashto Language:

5. Profession:

6. Math:

9. Chemistry:

10. Biology:

13. History:

14. Geography:
